It's June, and my theater-going adventures have been delayed because this month had other plans.
Life has been a little tight financially, which means I haven't made it out to a theater yet. As much as I'd love to pretend I'm mysteriously "curating the perfect comeback," the truth is that movie tickets cost money, and rent insists on being paid first. Rude.
That said, the first film I'll be seeing on the big screen is The Odyssey. And yes, that screening will officially kick off Meet Me In The Lobby's new chapter. I'll be writing about the theater itself—the atmosphere, the crowd, the seats, the snacks (if I cave and buy them), the whole experience.
So if you've been wondering where the posts are... they're coming. Just fashionably late.
